This is a head sculpt for a character that has been around for a while now.
Green oil based clay with some photoshop eyes added.
His armature is about 3/4 of the way done, more pics to come.

well video may be a while yet, just got the camera set up going. now to finish the armature and puppet so it's not just a head floating in space.
What kind of puppet construction is this going to be? Is it going to be clay, or are you going to do a casting from the sculpt? Is the armature for this one going to be machined?
sven, I don’t have the patients for clay animation.
This is a preliminary sculpt for a casting. Not sure if it will be replacement heads cast with resin or a soft cast with silicon or foam. I Still a lot to work out. Yes the armature is for this one.
